QwikChord Chord Diagrams: A Favorite of Guitar Teachers Worldwide!
QwikChord was designed to do exactly one thing: create chord diagrams. Where most products on the market right now try to do everything under the sun, we focused on the one thing that millions of guitar players and teachers have asked for...
A simple tool to create chord diagrams that can be pasted into other applications, or saved as graphic files that can be used on websites and bulletin boards.
The first version of QwikChord (originally named QuickChord) was released in 2003 as a freeware tool. Users from several guitar forums began using the application to discuss songs in blogs, and solely by word of mouth, news about QwikChord spread.
Two years later it was included on a CD that was distributed in a guitar magazine in the UK, and from that point QwikChord has become a favorite of guitar teachers around the world.
8 years later, over a million people have downloaded QwikChord. Since the original release, other companies began releasing programs with the same name in an effort to capture the fact that "QuickChord" was (and still is) the #1 item returned when it is searched in Google.
UPDATE!!
QwikChord 3 has now been released to the public domain. While this was not an easy decision to make, changes in the software market have necessitated this action. For more information about this decision, please read our Open Letter to Our Customers.
