Testimonials: What People Are Saying About QwikChord
What people have been saying about QwikChord
Over the years we've gotten countless emails from users writing in with requests, suggestions, tips, and just to share their thoughts on QwikChord. Here is a small sample of some of the comments we've gotten.
I've just bought and installed your software, and I love it. It's what I've been looking for a long time! I've been teaching guitar for 15 years, and this is going to help me aand my students a lot.
[Staff Note: Ernie asked about the rights to copy/transfer QwikChord, and if the graphics are considered "original artwork" if he uses it in publication. We explained that QwikChord is probably the most "legal-copy free" software you can find: we don't even make users agree to a long and boring EULA like most software companies do. When you purchase QwikChord, you own it! You can do whatever you want with it, and the artwork you create with it.]
Great! What a refreshing view! I'm glad the free enterprise system still has hope with companies like yours !
God Bless your company and I pray for continued success.

[Staff Note: Tracy wrote in with a suggestion to consider adding “partial capo” support. This sparked off a lively email exchange as this was the first time anyone has asked for this feature. We showed Tracy how to use the straight Barre line and Chord mode to create partial capo diagrams, and added the feature request to the development queue.]
Hi - Excellent, I have had a chance to play around with it a little now and it will be a great tool - very useful. Thanks again!
It's very workable "as is" because of the workarounds you demonstrated, but if you add [a partial capo tool] to the program's abilities in the future, even better!
I appreciate the personal and fast attention to my question.

I've been looking for a program like this for YEARS! I had a student ask me a question about some chord voicings this morning...in a matter of minutes, I downloaded your program, set up each chord diagram and copy and pasted it into an email. Brilliant!
I have been looking for something like this for quite a while, don't know how I missed it on various searches. I am preparing to start online video lessons that will have an accompanying power point frame and I was looking for something to easily create guitar grids, and this is more than I expected.
Thanks for developing such an amazing tool.
I purchased QwikChord a week or two ago to put chord diagrams into my worship guitar training. It saved me hours and hours of time compared to how I used to make diagrams.
Just wanted to let you know you have a great product, crazy spectacular price, and Iím going to keep plugging it at my workshops. Great work.
This new version is great! I love that I can set it up for left handed (custom) tuning.
Kudos on your very nice program. I've been fooling with graphics programs forever to "build" chord diagrams for my web sites, but I think I'll give up on that time-consuming method and stick with your program next time I want to add some more chords to my site.
[Staff Note: This was in response to a suggestion that was made, and was implemented within a week.]
Wow. That was fast! I'm actually going to use it tonight for the newsletter for the music store where I teach.
I absolutely LOVE your chord generator program. I'm curious if you have plans to release a Mac OS X version (I currently run the program under emulation)? Regardless, it's a great teaching tool. Much thanks!
It is hard to believe that QuickChord is such a great application and something that I have wanted for a while. I feel really lucky that I have found it, I could not have written it. Hat tip to you!
I want to thank you for creating such a wonderful little program! This is very useful for creating custom chord references.
I do have a couple feature requests if you would consider them:
- be able to add fingering numbers; either above/below fretboard, or in the little dots on the fret
- represent bar chords somehow
Also, I don't know if it's even possible, but can this be made for Macintosh?
Thanks again for Quick Chord -- it is really great, and I use it on a daily basis.
Wow, I don't know how you find the time for all that you do. I really think your Quick Chord is an fantastic little program. I have wished for something like this for years. Thanks!
It’s exactly what I was looking for!! Much gratitude! You’ve got a new friend in Chicago.
Just wanted to let you know how perfect QuickChord is! When doing lead sheets for songs it is indispensible and I use it very often. I've needed something like this for a very long time and am sooooo glad that you were able to write this program for people like me.
Quick Chord is an amazing program. It works perfectly I can't think of anything I'd like it to do that it doesn't do.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
Thanks so much!
I have it up and running and after a quick play it works beautifully. I appreciate your efforts. It's such a needed tool for teachers, yet most sites have wiz bang technology that cannot be exported to any documents.
All the best,
It would be nice to have the quick chord for ubuntu linux
I wish I'd found this years ago.
Just a quick note to say a HUGE THANKYOU for coming up with QuickCord – it is fabulous!
I love how quick and simple it is and I see you have a few developments planned.
THANKS! It’s a fabulous tool!
